The RizzmasillionCHAPTER 03

BIG LAMPS, BIG PROBLEMS

The early days of Arda were an absolute clown show, and I am going to walk you through every stupid decision. Before the Elves and Men showed up to make everything even messier, the Valor Squad were out here trying to terraform the planet like it was their own personal Minecraft realm. But there was this one edgy fallen angel named Melvin who kept griefing the whole lobby. The First War kicked off, and it was pure chaos until this absolute unit of a Valor Squad member named Swole Tully rolled up like a hype beast, laughing and throwing hands. Melvin took one look at this dude and noped out to go sulk in the shadows. Peace finally dropped, and the Valor Squad started building stuff for real.

Here's where it gets worse. Vanna Bloom, the tree mom of the group, was like "we need light or nothing's gonna grow, you absolute disasters." So her husband Ollie Anvil, the ultimate craft chad, cooked up two massive glow-up lamps: North Lamp in the north and South Lamp in the south. These things lit up the entire world 24/7 like the world's worst LED strip. Plants popped off, animals started vibing, and the Valor Squad decided to chill on this island called Beta Island like it was a tropical resort. They were feasting, resting—peak "we finally fixed it" energy. You are not ready for how fast this went wrong.

  1. Manny Breezyguys the lamps are lit, world is looking prime, we can finally relax🌿
  2. Vanna Bloomabout time, my plants were dying in the dark smh
  3. Ollie AnvilI built those bad boys myself, you're welcome
  4. Melvinlol I could destroy these in like five minutes

While the Valor Squad were out here living their best lives on Beta Island, Melvin was not, in fact, chilling. He was in the northern wastes of Middle-earth speedrunning the construction of an underground fortress called Starter Dungeon. Think evil lair but make it goth and full of corrupted Support Crew who decided "yeah, following the dark lord sounds like good career growth." He started pumping out sickness, violence, and general toxicity across the land. The Valor Squad kept trying to find his hideout but it was like playing hide and seek with someone who has boss powers. Melvin got cocky, decided his base was unraidable, and then pulled the most braindead move in cosmic history.

He came out swinging and toppled both lamps like they were cheap Amazon shelves. The world basically had a seizure—lands cracked, seas boiled, fire everywhere. The Valor Squad were too busy trying to stop the planet from straight-up dying to go after him immediately. Beta Island got deleted in the crossfire, and everyone was left standing in the ashes like "well that escalated quickly."

Two vast lamps on pillars light a green island. Melvin shoves one over; below, the land burns and floods and Elves flee the water.

Cut to the Valor Squad doing damage control like it's a group project that caught on fire. They packed up their whole operation and relocated to the far west of the world, in a place called Aman. To keep Melvin from ever pulling that again, they raised these insane mountains called the Wall Mountains like the world's tallest "no entry" sign. Behind that wall they built Valinor, their new glow-up realm. It was beautiful, peaceful, and way too good for what was about to happen next.

Vanna Bloom wasn't about to let Middle-earth stay in permanent dark mode. She sang these two legendary trees into existence right there in Valinor. First came Silver Tree, dripping silver light like the coolest moonlight filter. Then Gold Tree exploded with golden radiance that made everything look like it was shot on an iPhone with HDR maxed out. They took turns shining, with this one perfect hour where both lights mixed and the world got this soft aesthetic vibe. Valinor was now permanently lit, and it was lowkey the most beautiful thing anyone had ever seen.

fixing the messed up world and actually helping Middle-earthhiding in Valinor behind giant mountains while Vanna Bloom does all the work
The Valor Squad choosing to vibe in paradise instead of dealing with Melvin's mess.

Middle-earth wasn't completely ghosted, though. Vanna Bloom kept sneaking back to heal the scars Melvin left on her plants and animals, basically doing the emotional labor for the entire pantheon. She kept begging the others to go to war already, but they were too busy enjoying their new infinity pool. Orion Hunt would ride out sometimes like a cosmic hall monitor, and Melvin's servants would scatter—only to crawl right back the second he left. It was the mythological version of "clean your room" energy.

All of this was supposed to be prep work for the real main characters: the Children of Eric. That's Elves and Men, in case your lore brainrot is still loading. Elves get to live basically forever unless they get murdered or cry themselves to death from too much drama. When they do die, their souls head to Mandy Moodkiller' waiting room where they can eventually respawn. Men, on the other hand, get one short life and then bounce out of the universe entirely. They're freer to mess up their own stories, which stresses Manny Breezy out constantly because half of them choose the villain route. Eric keeps having to remind everyone that even the worst plot twists somehow end up serving his overall storyline. No matter how much Melvin thought he was main character-ing, he was still just an NPC in the bigger script.

And that's when Melvin realized the two trees were about to become the most expensive lamps in history.
