Time to map out Bellyland like it's the ultimate school lunch table hierarchy—except instead of who sits with the popular kids, it's about who gets to rule which fix of dirt while McEvilface is literally building a toxic waste mountain in the north. This is the era after the Flex Battle, the "Glorious Battle" where the Nerdor and their new besties the Grayscale Elves basically told McEvilface to sit down and shut up for a hot minute. The Siege of Hell Basement was on, and everyone was claiming realms like it was a group project and they all wanted the easy slide.
To the far north, Melvin—McEvilface now, after he got that name upgrade for being the ultimate edgelord—had stacked the Iron Mountains like some kind of slag fortress around his cribs Starter Dungeon and Hell Basement. Spite Mountains was his three-tower flex, made from all the filth and mining waste from his endless dungeons. The Valor Squad hadn't cleaned it out properly when they captured him last time, so yeah, lots of leftover monsters still vibing down there. Classic "we'll deal with it later" energy that always bites you in the ass, like that group project we said we'd finish over the weekend and then boom, it's due tomorrow.
West of that nightmare was Mistland, cold but kinda fertile, where Fightin' Finley and his son Clutch Finnegan set up shop. They raised horses on the plains of Ard-Galen and kept the watch. Next door in Coastwatch, warmed by sea breezes, Gordon HOA ruled for a bit before he got that itch for something more... hidden. East of Mistland was the highland of Pineland, all barren and overlooking the good plains—perfect lookout spot held by Angry Rod and Aegnor, bros of Freestyle Finrod. Nobody really wanted to live there because it screamed "trap," and everyone figured McEvilface wouldn't bother crossing that mess. Famous last words—like that time I said my Fortnite build was unraidable and then boom, instant L.
Freestyle Finrod himself held the Pass of Riverside, that big river slicing Bellyland in half like a bad breakup. On Tol Riverside island he built Minas Tirith, his watchtower glow-up. Later when he dipped to found Nacho Throne, he left it to Backup Orville. Nacho Throne became the biggest realm, stretching from the river to the sea (minus the Falas, which Boatman Kier kept like the chill coastal uncle). Meanwhile, east of the Riverside was the widest chunk: Spider Valley, this poisoned nightmare north of Doorlatch Forest where Hungy Ungy had dipped after her snack on the Trees, leaving her spider kids to spin webs of pure trauma. The water there? Straight poison, would make you go full villain arc just by sipping it. No cap, and don't even get me started on how Hungy Ungy probably still has a Yelp review up for that Trees buffet.
South of that hot mess was Doorlatch Forest, wrapped in the Girdle of Melanie Magic like the ultimate privacy fence. King Theo Gatekeep's realm—nobody gets in unless he says so. It's giving "invite-only realm" but make it enchanted forest. Then further east, the river Gelion splits into seven, naming Seven Rivers, the Land of Seven Rivers, bordered by the Blue Mountains. The Green Elves (Laiquendi) lived there, singing so beautifully the Nerdor renamed the mountains Ered Elf Suburbs after the sound. East of Pineland was the most attackable zone, so naturally the Sons of Finn planted their flags there. Max Onehand held the March of Max Onehand up north, Cocky Cal and Sneaky Curtis guarded Cold Plain, Mags the Bard had the gap, Cranky Carl took Thargelion, and the twins Twin Rod and Twin Ras chilled south, mostly hunting in the forests. They stuck to the north but yeah, classic Finn-family "we'll hold the front lines, you guys be fancy elsewhere" setup—like how the lunch monitors always get stuck with the worst shift.
After the Glorious Battle, Gordon HOA got that uneasy feeling in his heart—like when you know the group project is about to implode because one kid hasn't even opened the doc. He went back to the secret vale Uncle Ocean had shown him and spent 250 years on a glow-up project: building Secret Elf HOA. Uncle Ocean even put protection on the waters of Riverside so no one could find it against Gordon HOA's will. Then Gordon HOA yeeted his people (plus some of Fightin' Finley's and a bunch of Grayscale Elves) from Coastwatch into the hidden city. Poof—they vanished. Nobody knew where they went. It became almost as fair as Elftown back in Valinor, and Gordon HOA's daughter Ingrid Escape-Plan, with her golden hair, was the fairest of all. But Uncle Ocean warned him: don't simp too hard for your own creation, remember the Doom of Mandy Moodkiller, treason's coming for these walls. He'd send a messenger with specific armor so Gordon HOA would know it's legit. Classic foreshadowing that this hidden kingdom meta is gonna go so wrong, and yeah Gordon HOA if you're reading this stop simping bro.
- Clutch FinneganSis you cannot be serious rn. Secret Elf HOA? The hidden city? You're just gonna dip and leave us out here holding the siege while you build your mountain paradise?
- Gordon HOAIt is not like that. Uncle Ocean showed me the vale. This place... it will be safe. Elftown but better. Ingrid Escape-Plan will grow up without constant Orc raids.
- Ari WanderlustAnd what about the rest of us? Father is High King, we're all out here on the front lines. You get the secret glow-up while we patrol Ard-Galen?
- Gordon HOAAri Wanderlust, please. The Doom is real. I feel it. This is the only way. Uncle Ocean promised protection.
- Clutch FinneganFine. But if you vanish and we never hear from you again I'm telling everyone you got lost in a group project.
- Gordon HOANoted. Just... don't love the work of your hands too much, he said. Whatever that means.
Meanwhile in Doorlatch Forest, Queen Gigi was having deep chats with Melanie Magic, spilling just enough tea about the Shiny Rocks and Finn Senior's murder but straight-up ghosting on the Kinslaying, the Oath, and the ship-burning at Boat Bonfire Beach. Melanie Magic sensed major woe but couldn't see west anymore. She told Theo Gatekeep what she knew, and he was like "okay, so these Nerdor aren't McEvilface's allies at least," but she warned him hard about the sons of Finn—the shadow of their evil deeds might make them Doorlatch Forest's best defense or its biggest betrayal arc.
Then McEvilface started spreading rumors among the more gullible Grayscale Elves about what the Nerdor had really done. Boatman Kier brought the drama to Theo Gatekeep while the sons of Finny Sensible were visiting Queen Gigi. Theo Gatekeep went off on Freestyle Finrod like "you came with your mom's people's blood on your hands?" Freestyle Finrod, being the noble one, didn't throw the Finn Stans under the bus. But Angry Rod—still salty from that time Cranky Carl clowned him—was done. He spilled EVERYTHING: how the Team Finny Sensible were innocent, got betrayed, crossed the Big Freeze, all of it. Theo Gatekeep was furious at the silence but banned High Elf Speak in his borders forever. The language became this elite thing only Nerdor lords spoke among themselves. The sons of Finny Sensible left heavy-hearted, knowing the Finn-family curse would haunt everyone and fear of treachery would be their downfall. Freestyle Finrod also realized in his dark thoughts that he'd never marry, never have an heir, because of some Vanilla Elves girl back home and his own unspoken oath vibes. Lowkey the most tragic side quest ever.
Now here's where the hidden kingdom meta gets personal and tragic. Ari Wanderlust, done with Secret Elf HOA's walls and missing her freedom, begged Gordon HOA to let her visit Clutch Finnegan. He said yes but had bad feelings. She lied to her escort though—they were actually heading to chill with the sons of Finn, her old Valinor friends. They couldn't enter Doorlatch Forest (not Finny Sensible house), so they took the sketchy route between Doorlatch Forest's north border and the Horror Mountains. Shadows, separation, chaos. Her escort thought she was dead, bailed back to Secret Elf HOA with the L news.
Ari Wanderlust made it to Cold Plain, got welcomed by Cocky Cal and Sneaky Curtis's people while the bros were out. She wandered too far into Dark Woods, Emo Eli's creepy twilight forest where Melanie Magic's enchantment still lingered and the trees blocked all sun. Emo Eli, the Dark Elf besties with Dwarves, who invented that dope galvorn metal, saw her and was like "mine now." He enchanted her path so she'd end up at his place. She stayed, married him (not fully against it at first), had a son Mopey Mac—sharp glance, Nerdor looks but Emo Eli personality. They learned dwarf stuff, mining, all that. But Mopey Mac loved his mom's side, the Nerdor tales, especially uncle Gordon HOA with no heir. Emo Eli forbade it. Trust broken, and don't tell me Emo Eli wasn't lowkey jealous of the whole hidden city glow-up.
When Emo Eli was at a dwarf feast, Mopey Mac convinced Ari Wanderlust to bounce back to Secret Elf HOA. They lied to servants about going to the Finn Stans. Emo Eli found out, chased them, got stopped by Sneaky Curtis who was big mad about the whole marriage. Sneaky Curtis told him to go home, his family didn't want him. Emo Eli knew the truth though and kept pursuing, catching them at Secret Elf HOA's gates.
- Gordon HOABrother, you cannot be serious. You took my sister against any sense of kinship or law and now you demand to take her son too? Secret Elf HOA's law is clear.
- Emo EliI acknowledge no law of the Nerdor or your so-called kingdom. Mopey Mac is my son. He comes with me to Dark Woods where we belong in the twilight, not this glittering cage.
- Mopey MacFather... I choose to stay. With my mother's people. With the King.
- Emo EliYou would betray your own blood for these tree-killers? Then die the death I choose for you!
- Ari WanderlustNo!
- Gordon HOATake him to the walls. Judgment is passed. The law of the hidden city stands.
